Accurate and timely performance and strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. In the role of Accounting Assistant, we'll count on you to:Assist with project budgeting, invoicing and monthly status reportsAssist with project coordination of document control, development and tracking of decision logs, action items, client and team meetings and organization and production of deliverablesMaintaining cost tracking and recovering costs through delivery projects. Pulling and updating reports on a weekly basis to support managementReviewing, annotating, and processing expense documentationAssist in reviewing and validating credit card purchasesAssist in maintaining accurate timecards for area staffAssist in maintaining local accounts payable by reviewing and processing invoicesAssist in maintaining appropriate approvals for overhead costsPerform specific and limited portions of a broader assignmentDo routine work and follow detailed instructionsInvolve the use of computers to maintain financial records and accounting reportsPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingExperience in cost accountingInterest in growing in cost accountingProficiency with MS Office including Word and OutlookFlexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environmentRequired Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentStrong attention to detail, manage multiple projects independentlyAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustHDR is our company.
