Accounting Clerk

Accounting ClerkLHH is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a growing organization to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to grow their accounting experience in a collaborative environment. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $28-$30 an hour.Responsibilities:Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsEnter invoices, payments, and other financial information into accounting systemsReconcile accounts and assist with resolving discrepanciesPrepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentationAssist with billing, cash applications, and payment processingReview invoices for accuracy and proper approvalsCommunicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoices and paymentsAssist with month-end closing activities and reportingPerform general clerical and administrative duties to support the accounting teamMaintain confidentiality of financial and company informationQualifications:1+ year of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; accounting coursework or degree a plusStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeExperience with accounting or ERP software preferredStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
