Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is an onsite role performed in our well-equipped rehabilitation facility, where you will engage directly with patients in a supportive and positive environment. Operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other health specialists, share best practices, and contribute to a team-oriented culture that values respect, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities, limitations, and specific needs related to rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans informed by patient assessments that target improved mobility, strength, and pain management.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Track and document patient progress accurately, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, preventive measures, and self-management techniques to encourage long-term wellness.
• Collaborate optimally with a team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, medical doctors, and rehabilitation aides, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in ongoing training, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population of patients, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation clients to those recovering from sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and age-related impairments. You will work closely with individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, customizing treatment approaches to address their specific rehabilitation goals. The work is not only rewarding but essential in helping patients reclaim their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated proficiency in patient evaluation and treatment, particularly with musculoskeletal conditions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with both patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of direct physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
