A boutique family law firm in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join their team! As a Legal Assistant, you will provide comprehensive and confidential support to two attorneys and a paralegal in the field of family law, specializing in high-net-worth clients and prominent business owners. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, organizing documents, scheduling, client communication, and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate for this position has at least 3-5 years of experience in the legal field with 6 months of experience in family law or strong litigation within the last 3 years. The position offers a work life balance with a flexible hybrid schedule and ample time off! Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys and paralegal in family law operations
- Manage email correspondence, calendars, and documents using Time Matters, Outlook, and Net Docs
- Handle client communication, including calls, conferences, and consultations
- Prepare legal documents, scan files, and draft client letters
- Prioritize tasks, collaborate with the team, and meet deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed
- 3-5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant
- Proficiency in Time Matters and Net Docs
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
- Degree in a related field preferred but not required; experience valued
