Youth Education Manager, Alpha - $200,000/year USD

In this role you will ensure every student you mentor and the Guides you lead achieve high expectations, accelerated progress, and real‑world competence. What You Will Be Doing Facilitate one‑hour live sessions in life skills and social‑emotional learning for K‑8 students on subjects such as public speaking and concentration. Conduct daily motivational sessions to keep 100% of students meeting weekly app‑based goals, using age‑appropriate incentives. Develop Guides through direct observation, precise feedback, and practical training so they execute workshops with equivalent energy and rigor. Analyze Coachbot data and student records to pinpoint learners needing support, then provide direct intervention. Personally mentor your designated student cohort, exemplifying the coaching and motivational techniques required of all Guides. What You Won’t Be Doing Creating lesson plans or building curriculum—students advance via adaptive applications, and your focus is on elevating the people supporting them. Delivering traditional classroom lectures—your role is 80% performance, 20% content expertise. Compromising standards due to external pressure from parents or administration—maintain the 99% threshold. Spending your day in an office handling administrative tasks—they are a minority of your time. Waiting extended periods for performance evaluations—outcomes are visible in real‑time through Coachbot, and adjustments occur immediately. Youth Education Manager Key Responsibilities Ensure Alpha’s three promises are realized across your student cohort and the Guides you supervise: every child develops a love of learning, progresses at twice the speed, and acquires tangible life skills. Basic Requirements Residing in or willing to relocate to one of the sites listed above (relocation assistance provided). Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred; traditional teaching certifications are not required). Minimum of five years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a comparable area. Demonstrated experience designing and executing educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives. Proven history of managing a team of five or more individuals, including responsibilities for recruitment and performance‑driven termination decisions. Background in coaching, mentoring, or delivering constructive feedback to enhance engagement and outcomes. Experience working directly with youth aged five to fourteen in educational or developmental environments. Strong capability in leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions and foster continuous improvement. Legal authorization to work in the United States. Nice‑to‑have Requirements Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, or Business. Experience as an athletic coach, camp director, or youth program coordinator where you directly motivated children to achieve measurable objectives. History of coaching adults in positions where performance was measured and evaluated. Confidence presenting to large groups of children—commands attention in a room full of eight‑year‑olds.
