Forward Deployed Engineer (Level 4)

Who We Are: You will be the Forward Deployed AI Engineer (Level 4) for the Aero Operations AI Team, responsible for delivering AI‑driven solutions that transform aerospace operations. You are a collaborative technical leader who thrives on turning complex AI concepts into operational reality, with proven project lead experience, strong financial stewardship, and the ability to bridge technology with mission‑critical customers. Responsibilities Translate internal customer requirements into actionable roadmaps and technical specifications. Manage project schedules and financial plans, acting as the budget steward. Oversee the full solution lifecycle—from concept and prototype through deployment, validation, and ongoing support. Lead strategic alignment with executive leadership, bridging the gap between bottom‑up and top‑down approaches. Manage the team’s project triaging process, ranking new initiatives by potential impact and required effort. Proficiency in managing executive leadership expectations and developing strategic outlooks. Comfortable leveraging data analytics to assess project impact and answer core business questions. Experience preparing, tracking, and reporting budgets of $2M+; comfortable using financial tools (SAP, Oracle, Excel) to monitor cost performance. Ability to negotiate scope, timelines, and resources with stakeholders and customers. Strong organization and communication skills. Desired Skills Master’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Distribution, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field. Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and/or Generative AI (GenAI). Familiarity with GenAI Coding Assistants. Experience with agentic AI frameworks. Understanding of agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data catalog tools. Experience with aircraft manufacturing processes. Location and Remote Information Fort Worth, TX, USA.
