Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and restrictions, documenting findings meticulously to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Design and implement tailored therapeutic interventions that focus on pain management and enhancing motion and mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to advocate for non-surgical treatment options that prioritize patient wellness and recovery.
• Maintain a manageable patient load to ensure that each individual receives personalized attention and care throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Regularly monitor patients' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to maximize functional outcomes and improve patient independence.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest therapy techniques and advances in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a varied patient population, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals seeking rehabilitation after surgery, and those managing chronic orthopedic conditions. Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in California, with no history of sanctions or legal issues related to professional conduct.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation practices are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective fitness programs tailored to various patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to efficiently document treatment processes and patient progress.
• Strong understanding of current physical therapy methodologies and a commitment to evidence-based interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with sports rehabilitation techniques is advantageous for maximizing patient outcomes.
• Prior experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team will enhance patient care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
