Work Environment

This full-time role requires being present onsite at our rehabilitation facility, which is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support a wide spectrum of orthopedic rehabilitation practices. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Our clinic features collaborative spaces for staff to engage in multidisciplinary consultations, enhancing the overall patient care experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' specific goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a focused patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour to deliver personalized treatment sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, leveraging a combination of manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise protocols.
• Utilize our electronic medical record system, WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
• Proactively monitor patients' progress, modifying treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring patients benefit from a holistic approach.
• Inspire and motivate patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, enhancing their adherence to treatment regimens.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided, maintaining the highest standards of clinical accuracy and accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adult patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist, you will be instrumental in providing evidence-based interventions that enhance the physical wellness of our clientele, ultimately reducing their reliance on medications and surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license issued by the California Board of Physical Therapy.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong skills in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise development.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience

Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred to ensure that the therapist is adept at handling a variety of cases encountered in this specialized field. Candidates with strong backgrounds in patient rehabilitation, treatment program design, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams will stand out.

Compensation and Benefits
