Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work hours while ensuring a healthy work-life balance. As an independent contractor, you will operate in a nurturing and collegial virtual environment, working closely with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of each patient's psychological, social, and emotional needs to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy based on clinical appropriateness, utilizing evidence-based practices to support patient recovery.

• Participate actively in program planning alongside the psychiatry team and other health professionals to enhance overall care strategies.

• Perform ongoing evaluations of patients’ biopsychosocial needs, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective symptom resolution.

• Manage case documentation efficiently, maintaining up-to-date progress notes in our electronic health records system, with training provided as needed.

• Offer guidance on behavioral therapy and case management, ensuring the highest standards of care for all assigned patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on assisting residents in a detox center, where you will work with individuals undergoing treatment for substance use disorders. Your expertise in counseling will be vital to fostering healthy coping mechanisms, facilitating psychosocial interventions, and supporting recovery pathways. You must have an empathetic approach, ensuring that you are comfortable working with senior citizens who may also present unique challenges in this setting.

Qualifications\n
