VP, Contract Surety

Job Summary The position is responsible for the overall profit and growth of an assigned territory. Duties include overseeing Surety underwriting activities within the region, establishing and managing marketing plans and related activities, and managing territorial workflows to maximize productivity, efficiency, and expense control. The role also involves maintaining relationships with producers and accounts, and contributing to the division’s goals and objectives. Key Competencies Strong leadership skills Strong oral and written communication skills Organization and prioritization to meet multiple demands and commitments Preferred Technical Skills Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software products Experience Ten plus years’ experience in the contract Surety business. Education College degree in Business with successful completion of courses in Finance, Management, Accounting and Marketing, or equivalent work experience. AFSB designation also preferred. Compensation Base salary range: $174,800 - $271,446 per year. Position is incentive eligible. Total individual compensation (base salary, short‑ and long‑term incentives) will take into account geographic location, scope and responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability, specialization, and business needs.
