Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough Psychosocial Assessments, evaluating client needs, strengths, and areas for growth.

  • Develop and implement strategic treatment plans tailored to individual client goals, ensuring they are measurable and achievable.

  • Maintain detailed and timely progress notes for each patient, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating effective care.

  • Track treatment progress and outcomes, adjusting plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

  • Engage in regular communication with clients, their support systems, and external partners to coordinate care and address any emerging challenges.

  • Participate in team meetings to discuss case updates, share insights, and collaborate on client care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults experiencing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Many clients may face barriers to in-person therapy due to geographic or situational constraints. Your role will be pivotal in establishing trust, providing guidance, and facilitating healing in their lives through remote counseling. You will also handle clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care that respects each individual’s unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

  • An active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California.
  • \n
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate professional counseling experience.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients via digital platforms.

  • Proficiency in using telehealth technology and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in substance use counseling or trauma-informed care would be advantageous. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Mindfulness-Based approaches, is a plus. Experience working within a telehealth setting will also enhance the onboarding experience, as you adapt to our clinic’s digital workflows.
