Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborating with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are responsive to their unique needs and aspirations.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively manage mood disorders.

• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and engagement in the treatment process.

• Monitoring and documenting client progress regularly, and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Coordinating care through proactive collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Staying informed about the latest developments in mood disorder research and integrating new findings into therapeutic practices.

• Maintaining accurate and secure client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participating actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance your expertise and the quality of care provided.

• Advocating for mental health awareness and serving as a resource for clients affected by stigma related to their mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n
