Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, with the option to occasionally meet clients or attend team meetings in our outpatient office. Our flexible work schedule allows counselors to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patients' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to effectively address diverse mental health issues.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups, creating a community-focused environment that encourages shared experiences and healing.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff, ensuring coordinated patient care that addresses all facets of mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention services, effectively managing emergency situations and providing immediate support to patients in need.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available in the community to enhance their understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards using established electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to stay abreast of new research and best practices in mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based treatment principles.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 52,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
