Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough assessments of patients to diagnose mental health conditions, utilizing contemporary diagnostic tools like the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), ensuring individualized treatment plans that respect cultural diversity.

  Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions, adjusting strategies as necessary to align with patient progress and mental health goals.

  Maintain comprehensive and organized treatment records, adhering strictly to regulatory standards and best practices in documentation.

  Collaborate with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to formulate comprehensive and achievable treatment plans, actively involving all parties in the process.

  Coordinate referrals and facilitate communication between patients and other healthcare providers, ensuring continuity of care.

  Provide mentorship and educational support to students, interns, and other emerging professionals in the field of social work, sharing insights and expertise.

  Contribute to team development by engaging in peer reviews, clinical collaboration, and chart audits with direction from your clinical supervisor, enhancing the skills and efficacy of your colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work with a diverse audience, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological issues. The center reaches out to the community and serves patients from varied backgrounds, ensuring that care is personalized to meet the unique needs of every individual.

Qualifications\n

  A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

  Possession of a valid LCSW license in the state of California (or state of practice).

  Proven ability to engage with patients through active listening and empathy, critical for developing trusting therapeutic relationships.

  Physical capability to perform essential functions of the job, including the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.

  Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, in line with experience and qualifications.
