Hotel Front Desk Agent

This Hotel Front Desk Agent role supports smooth guest arrivals, departures, and day-to-day lobby operations in a busy Staten Island setting. The position is responsible for greeting guests, confirming reservations, assigning rooms, processing check-ins and check-outs, and answering questions about hotel services and local transportation. Additional duties typically include handling phone calls, recording requests accurately, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance, and resolving routine concerns in a calm, professional manner. Strong communication, basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized during peak periods are important. Prior customer service or hospitality experience is helpful, and familiarity with property management systems is a plus. The work is performed in a fast-paced indoor environment with frequent standing, walking, and repetitive computer and phone use.
