Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate each client’s mental health needs and challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to create detailed treatment goals and objectives based on their unique circumstances.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to deliver integrated care.
• Educate and empower clients' families, fostering understanding and involvement in the therapy process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our client base includes children, adolescents, adults, and families. By providing tailored therapy to a wide spectrum of clients, you will play a critical role in addressing their specific mental health needs and promoting overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated specialized training or substantial experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting providing mental health counseling or therapy services is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
• Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
