Position Overview

Park North Physical Therapy in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our reputable orthopedic rehabilitation team. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions effectively and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to individual rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize advanced hands-on therapy techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and families on treatment protocols, recovery strategies, and preventive care practices.
• Consistently document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on outcomes and patient feedback.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records (EHR), using EMR platforms such as WebPT to streamline patient management and communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Park North, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise in manual therapy and rehabilitative exercises will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and confidence in their physical abilities. By fostering strong therapeutic relationships, you will empower patients on their path to full recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current New Jersey Physical Therapist licensure in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic care.
• Proficient skills in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation principles.
• Prior experience using EMR systems such as WebPT is preferred.
• No disciplinary actions or board complaints on record.

Preferred Experience

• Clinical expertise in specialty areas such as post-operative rehabilitation or sports medicine is highly regarded.
• Experience creating and leading patient education workshops is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

Park North Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
