Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs, utilizing individualized therapy strategies tailored to each unique situation.

• Deliver a variety of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to groups, families, couples, and individuals.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records that adhere to legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality and effective communication.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care and treatment planning.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and continuing education to stay current with the latest mental health research and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Head Start Youth Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. The individuals we serve come from various backgrounds and may present with different challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will guide them towards healing and personal growth in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia is mandatory.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is needed to ensure you are well-prepared to support our clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a sign-on bonus and flexible working arrangements.
