Benefits Lead at Appian Corporation About the role Join Appian Corporation as a Global Benefits Lead, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing and managing our worldwide benefits programs. This position involves working closely with the Senior Manager of Benefits to oversee daily U.S. benefits administration and support benefits initiatives across EMEA and APJ regions. You'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing an outstanding employee experience. Key facts Location: McLean, Virginia Engagement: Full-time, in-office What you'll do Administer U.S. health and welfare programs, including medical, dental, vision, and more. Manage the U.S. 401(k) program, addressing employee questions and ensuring compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to support employee leave programs. Ensure accurate processing of benefits enrollments, life events, and payroll activities. Assist in administering global benefits in EMEA and APJ, working with local partners. Support compliance with U.S. and international regulatory requirements. Manage vendor relationships and oversee performance and issue resolution. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance global benefits operations. Requirements Minimum of 5 years in benefits administration, handling complex programs. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. In-depth knowledge of U.S. health and welfare benefits and retirement plans. Experience with international benefits in North America, EMEA, or APJ. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with benefits administration systems; Workday experience preferred. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Skills & tools Experience with benefits administration systems and vendor management. Proficiency in using AI and automation tools for workflow efficiency. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Practical notes Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The role requires in-office presence five days a week.
