Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | 13 or 26-Week Contract Options | 36 or 48-Hour Weekly Options

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units, which may include specialty areas such as Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, Transplant, or Observation depending on unit assignment
• Administer and manage IV drips; drip competency is required on all floors
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility staffing needs, including potential assignment to a sister campus approximately 16 minutes from the main campus
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport team, paramedics/swoop, and LPNs (where assigned)
• Fulfill weekend and holiday requirements: expected 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period (Friday night and Saturday night for night shift); expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be scheduled approximately six weeks out)
• BLS certification required (ACLS strongly preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with experience in a large, urban hospital setting required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting required
• Competency with IV drip management required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center
• Background in specialty areas such as Neuro, Oncology, Trauma, Cardiac, or Transplant nursing
