Pay Range Overview The actual pay may vary based on skills and experience. Base salary is $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year with performance‑based commission. Job Summary The Piper Fire Sarasota, FL branch seeks a driven Account Executive for a high‑impact, hunter‑style sales role focused on aggressively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities with former or untapped customers, primarily in Fire Alarm, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Suppression, and related services. Reporting to the Sales Manager, your territory will cover the Sarasota, FL area. Key Responsibilities Actively hunt for new business opportunities and re‑engage former Piper Fire customers, focusing on fire protection services. Prospect and develop direct negotiated sales with end users through cold calling, networking, and field outreach. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a minimum of 10 targeted calls per week. Participate in weekly activity reviews to evaluate progress and refine strategy. Conduct field surveys and customer visits to uncover and qualify leads. Develop scopes of work and proposals for monitoring, maintenance, and inspection agreements. Support business development efforts, including lead generation, estimating, take‑offs, and presentations. Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs. Maintain accurate records of proposals and customer interactions in HubSpot CRM. Refer larger project opportunities to the Sales Manager for strategic handling. Occasionally collaborate with other sales and engineering professionals across the organization. Required Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Proven B2B/outside sales experience, preferably in fire protection services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hunter’s mindset. Self‑motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Comfortable making cold calls, initiating contact with prospects, and conducting field surveys. High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Proficient computer and mobile device skills. Organized, motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Compensation Base salary of $50,000 – $60,000 annually based on experience, plus commission. Commission is performance‑based and may vary. *This pay range reflects the base salary Fortis Fire & Safety reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
