Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) - Acute Internal Medicine - Evening Shift

We are seeking a compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to lead our Acute Internal Medicine Unit. Role & Responsibilities Support the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high patient care standards. Mentor and serve as a clinical leader to foster a positive, collaborative work environment. Manage staff including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development. Oversee patient care plans, ensuring interventions meet patients' needs and documentation policies. Coordinate staffing, equipment management, and performance metrics; handle payroll and staff communications. Assist in budget development, monitor productivity, and ensure departmental goals are met. Perform performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed. Qualifications & Skills RN license with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; leadership experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage staff and support clinical operations effectively. Key Duties Support daily unit operations and patient care delivery. Lead staff development, performance management, and staffing coordination. Ensure compliance with policies and documentation standards. Participate in departmental budgeting and operational planning.
