Position Summary

CheckMark is the in-house creative resource of Nestlé Purina. Creatives here are talented, naturally curious, and self-motivated individuals who enjoy the excitement of agency life with all the benefits of a big company. We share a passion for pets. As a Senior Copywriter, you’re a multi-talented creative and strategic thinker who concepts, creates, and produces high-quality work that is relevant to the brand and compelling to the target audience. You have advanced skills in idea generation and writing, that can flex from digital to traditional and short to long form. We’ll challenge you to think imaginatively, collaborate effectively, and act strategically all while working toward the greater goal of growing the Purina portfolio.

• Concept and write for a variety of touchpoints along the consumer journey including digital products, social, eCommerce, video, advertising, promotions, and packaging
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create concepts that work across multiple channels
• Work directly with creative and account service teams, as well as partners across departments within the larger organization
• Present ideas credibly to internal teams and leadership while engaging in strategic discussions
• Partner with a creative and strategy team to manage assignments with a high degree of autonomy
• Supervise creative from concept through production, including client and legal reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of professional experience with 1+ of those years of experience in copywriting

Other

• Experience with an advertising/marketing/in-house agency or similar environment preferred

Salary: $77,694.30 to $97,424 per year

Bonus Eligibility: Yes

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
