Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews, accurately documenting clients' cases from the initial consultation through to the completion of treatment.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that may involve therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and group sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote patient engagement and progress.

• Monitor and assess clients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, healthcare providers, and social workers to holistically address client needs.

• Participate in necessary follow-up communications with psychiatrists and attending physicians regarding any clients admitted to hospitals.

• Use clinical insight to identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder client recovery and well-being.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in managing challenges related to clients' mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor at Vibrant Minds, you will work closely with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship difficulties, striving to empower them through therapeutic support and guidance.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain accurate client records.

• Experience working with clients with co-occurring physical health and emotional conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Awareness of best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth knowledge of psychotropic medications and their effects as prescribed by medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
