Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to identify co-occurring disorders, ensuring that clients receive tailored support for their unique treatment needs.

• Develop, implement, and continually evaluate evidence-based treatment plans that align with each client's personal goals and the latest therapeutic strategies.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that address issues surrounding addiction, trauma, and other underlying mental health conditions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Regularly monitor and track client progress through structured interactions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to maximize effectiveness and support long-term recovery.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to provide a holistic approach to client care and optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Deliver educational resources to clients and their families about mental health, recovery principles, and addiction-related issues, fostering a supportive home environment for recovery.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of treatment and patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele includes individuals battling various forms of addiction as well as those dealing with co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. Your expertise will play a crucial role in facilitating their healing journey, equipping them with coping strategies and resilience-building techniques to foster lasting change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited program.

• Possess a current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in New York State.

• A minimum of three years of recent, relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly focused on addiction and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
