Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Implementing an array of psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address the unique mental health challenges of each patient.

• Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and external mental health providers, to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously enhance treatment strategies and patient outcomes.

• Providing education to patients and their families about mental health resources, treatment options, and strategies for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with adults dealing with substance use issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will provide vital support to clients during their detoxification process, delivering compassionate care and fostering an environment conducive to healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
