Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to accurately understand each client’s mental health needs, goals, and circumstances.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with clients’ unique challenges and aspirations, leveraging evidence-based practices.

• Provide high-quality, empathetic counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, addressing both immediate concerns and long-term mental health goals.

• Collaborate with clients to explore effective coping strategies, promote resilience, and develop skills for managing anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic records in accordance with ethical standards and organizational policies, ensuring clients’ trust and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Tides Therapy and Consulting, we serve a diverse range of clients, including adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. With our remote work model, we can reach underserved populations across York, Pennsylvania, allowing us to cater to individuals who may face barriers to accessing traditional in-person care. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current, active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a firm understanding of therapeutic methodologies and patient interaction.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively relate to clients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and familiarity with brief therapy techniques is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Tides Therapy and Consulting offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
