The Progressive Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapists, including LMFTs, LPCs, or LCSWs, to join our outpatient team in Galveston, Texas. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs, strengths, and challenges, leading to the creation of tailored treatment plans.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy in sessions tailored to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster community connections and share valuable resources for managing mental health.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure that patients receive coordinated and holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises and guiding them through crisis management.

• Educate patients on navigating their mental health conditions, outlining treatment options and connecting them to essential community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment outcomes and share clinical insights.

• Stay informed about the latest research, developments, and trends in mental health therapy to continually improve service delivery and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid active license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position is competitively set between USD 80,000 and USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
