Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional healing and personal growth, drawing upon a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to client preferences.

• Maintain organized and accurate client records, including progress notes and treatment adjustments, in compliance with departmental standards and legal requirements.

• Collaborate directly with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies that align with each client’s goals.

• Engage in crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute emotional distress, employing immediate assessment and intervention techniques to ensure safety and stability.

• Provide educational resources and tools to clients and their families, fostering understanding of mental health conditions and encouraging proactive involvement in treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in an outpatient mental health setting is required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen ability to connect with clients and clearly document clinical information.

• Strong proficiency in technology, including e-health platforms, electronic medical records (EMR), and basic computing software to facilitate efficient service delivery.

• Highly organized, self-directed, and able to work independently while effectively managing multiple cases.
