Technical Operations Engineer Co-Op

Process engineering co-op role at Johnson & Johnson's MedTech division in Puerto Rico supporting manufacturing optimization and process improvement initiatives. Full-time position from January to December 2027 focused on operational excellence, quality improvements, and regulatory compliance within a medical device manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering projects of low to medium complexity and manage quality non-conformances
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste and downtime
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions
• Support process validation activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Analyze manufacturing data and ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and safety standards

Requirements

• Completion of undergraduate freshman year at accredited university
• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Permanently authorized to work in U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in team environment
