Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekdays and rotating weekends required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period). Rotating holiday coverage. Float required within the healthcare system as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of PCU/Stepdown nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)

Essential Skills:

• Cardiac telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Ventilator management and tracheostomy care
• Titration of cardiac and insulin drips
• Central line and PICC line management
• Blood product administration and heparin protocols
• BiPAP/CPAP management and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) interpretation
• Pre/Post hemodialysis management
• Chest tube management (Emerson/PleurEvac)
