Transportation Coordinator

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a Transportation Coordinator you will be compliance with safety regulations, focusing on all aspects of transportation operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods while maintaining Key Responsibilities: Sorting and Organizing : Organize items based on size, weight, and destination to optimize space utilization within the truck Preparing Shipments: Carefully review shipping orders and ensure that the correct items are selected for loading onto trucks. Loading Trucks: You will be responsible for efficiently and safely loading goods onto trucks for transportation to various destinations. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will ensure that shipments are accurately loaded and delivered on schedule. Route Planning and Optimization: Develop and optimize transportation routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to address customer inquiries and resolve transportation-related issues. Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements to enhance transportation efficiency and effectiveness. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate transportation-related risks, including accidents, delays, and security threats. Qualifications: Proven experience in transportation Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
