Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough and ongoing assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Facilitating communication among supervisors, direct staff, and family members regarding client progress, ensuring everyone involved is informed and engaged.

• Providing supervisors with a tentative schedule for appointments, including home visits and observations, to track treatment efficacy and client progression.

• Coordinating home visits to fulfill in-home observation requirements, which may involve chart reviews and staff interviews.

• Ensuring the implementation of treatment plans is effective and adhered to by both clients and support staff.

• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client statuses and collaboratively address complex cases.

• Documenting monthly and quarterly progress notes to maintain accurate and accessible client records.
\n
• Organizing and leading training sessions to ensure team members are well-versed in program plans and documentation practices.

• Providing additional follow-up interviews and home visits to support the ongoing needs of clients.

• Serving as a liaison with the broader mental health community to contribute towards developmental goals within the organization.

• Assisting in the creation and refinement of training materials aimed at improving program delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve providing support and therapy to a wide array of clients, including both adults and youth. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Specialized knowledge in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in the field of counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
