DISTRICT SALES MANAGER

Job Title : District Sales Manager Department: Sales Location : Raleigh, NC Reports to: Regional Vice President Date : 04/24/2026 Milner is a trusted leader in office technology, managed IT, cybersecurity, and document management solutions. Position Overview The District Sales Manager is responsible for revenue performance, gross profit, and the overall health of the sales organization across the Raleigh North Carolina Market. Team Leadership & Development Coach, mentor, and develop sales representatives through regular one-on-ones, ride days, and performance reviews. Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and high energy. Identify growth paths for both new and tenured team members. Lead from the Front Actively participate in customer meetings, demos, and ride-along. Model sales best practices, prospecting discipline, and CRM hygiene. Drive high visibility activity across the team and lead key opportunities. Sales Execution & Forecasting Own the forecast: ensure weekly pipeline reviews and accurate opportunity stages. The ability to qualify and move deals through the funnel. Maintain strong alignment with marketing, operations, and service for cross-functional execution. Recruitment & Onboarding Attract and hire top talent to build a deep bench of sales professionals. Implement structured onboarding and ramp-up programs in collaboration with training resources. Territory & Strategy Management Understand territory performance and rep productivity. Adjust strategies as needed to maximize coverage and hit territory goals. What Success Looks Like Consistently meeting or exceeding team quota. 80%+ rep attainment of bi-monthly bonuses. Accurate and predictable forecasts. Strong bench strength and low rep turnover. High rep engagement and CRM adoption. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in B2B sales with 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship role. Proven ability to develop talent and lead high-performing teams. Strong organizational, forecasting, and communication skills. Experience in technology, managed services, or office equipment is a plus. Willingness to be customer-facing and highly visible in the field.
