Accounting ManagerBixby Main Branch - Bixby, OK 74008About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting the Bank's financial strength through sound accounting and investment-related practices.The Accounting Manager will oversee a broad range of accounting functions, government and bank-required reporting, and holding company accounting activities. This person will also serve as a leader and coach, helping the team deliver high-quality work and exceptional internal and external service.What You'll DoLead and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting teamEstablish, maintain, and enforce accounting standards, policies, and proceduresProvide day-to-day leadership aligned with the Bank's vision, mission, and core valuesCoach and support team members in delivering excellent internal and external customer servicePerform and support key accounting functions, including:General Ledger reviewPrepaid expensesAccrualsDepreciationFunds allocationInterbank liabilities analysisSales taxSummary of depositsALCO reportingOversee investment activities, including:Balancing and managing the investment portfolioMaintaining pledging requirements for public fundsCompleting the monthly Liquidity ReportCompleting the FHLB QCD Report in accordance with federal regulationsPrepare and file required regulatory reports accurately and on time, including:Quarterly Call ReportQuarterly FR Y-8Semi-Annual FR Y-9SPRelated regulatory reportsManage all accounting, operations, and reporting activities of the bank holding companyPresent financial information at committee meetings as neededMaintain current knowledge of banking, accounting, and management practicesSupport additional projects and responsibilities as assignedWhat We're Looking For5+ years of banking experience5+ years of accounting-related experience or equivalent educational experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldStrong knowledge of accounting for financial institutions, including:GAAPBanking laws and regulationsRegulatory reporting requirementsAdvanced financial analysis skillsAdvanced Excel skills or equivalent experience with financial softwareExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to lead a team, manage deadlines, and maintain high standards of accuracyPreferred QualificationsCPA certificationWork ScheduleThis is a full-time, exempt position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours based on business needs.
