Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to formulate tailored therapeutic plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage in both individual and group counseling sessions, fostering a supportive and open environment for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.

• Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health practices and theories.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our LPCs work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health struggles such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Many of our clients have limited access to conventional mental health care, making our outreach all the more essential. Our approach centers on understanding the unique contexts and backgrounds of each client, enabling us to provide culturally sensitive and relevant care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, ideally within a clinical setting.
