Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally appropriate mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' backgrounds, experiences, and specific mental health needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with the patients' cultural and personal contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated care, ensuring all aspects of a patient’s treatment are addressed.

• Respond to mental health crises by offering immediate support and intervention strategies tailored to each situation.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and empower them to utilize community resources effectively.

• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions on cultural competency, enhancing care delivery methods continually.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, treatment modalities, and cultural considerations impacting mental health to ensure responsive and informed care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required in the state of Texas.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, contemporary evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competence.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy with an emphasis on culturally responsive practices.

• Proven crisis intervention capabilities, demonstrating calmness and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and technological tools necessary for remote therapy.

• A commitment to ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all aspects of care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting providing mental health therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
