This position operates in a hybrid work setting, primarily remote, with an outpatient office available for those who prefer in-person consultations. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify client needs and treatment goals.

• Developing, implementing, and reviewing individual treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitating therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Educating clients and their families on mental health practices, coping strategies, and self-care techniques to enhance their overall well-being.

• Collaborating closely with other healthcare providers and specialists to coordinate care and streamline treatment processes.

• Participating in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

As a therapist at Chance To Advance, you will work with a diverse group of clients across the lifespan, providing tailored therapeutic interventions that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a mental health-related field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology.
\n
• A valid New York State license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health counseling techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, additional experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, substance use, or children and family therapy is a plus. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also advantageous, as it will aid in streamlining documentation and client management processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
