Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to determine the needs of students.

• Collaborate with students, parents, and educators to develop individualized treatment plans that consider cultural backgrounds and specific emotional or behavioral challenges.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in various formats such as individual sessions, family meetings, and group workshops.

• Deliver crisis intervention as necessary, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of services for students in emotional distress.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Equip students and their families with valuable psychoeducation to enhance their understanding and management of mental health issues.

• Work closely within a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to facilitate holistic care for students.

• Implement regular outcome assessments to gauge the effectiveness of interventions and modify treatment strategies as necessary.

• Stay updated with ongoing research, best practices, and new therapeutic trends to enhance clinical effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work is required.
