Legal Paralegal

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated paralegal for our law practice.

Duties will include communicating with clients, drafting of documents, and scheduling for attorneys. The ideal candidate should have attention to detail, be a self-starter and be organized. If you have previous experience in the matrimonial/family law and/or litigation and personal injury field, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful paralegal will be able to assist in running the day-to-day functions in this fast-paced field.

Responsibilities:

Provides support to ensure efficient operation of our Law Practice
Communicating with clients, Courts and other attorneys.
Drafting and finalizing documents.
Calendaring and Scheduling
Screening potential new clients
Assist in the preparation of documents
Filing documents on NYSCEF

Requirements:

Previous experience in a law office.
Knowledge of Windows 11, SharePoint, Outlook and NYSCF, CM/ECF and Pacer

Will train on File Management Software and Family Law Software
