Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide client therapy to individuals experiencing major mental health issues and severe emotional disturbances, using evidence-based practices.

• Develop and implement integrated care plans, ensuring that clients and their families receive coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Conduct thorough assessments, both in person and via telehealth, to determine client needs and appropriate interventions.

• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and guidelines established by The Mind Wellness Center and relevant governing bodies.

• Actively participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to enhance collaborative care and ensure thorough communication among team members.

• Maintain client records up to date, ensuring all communications and interventions are accurately documented in accordance with our quality assurance policies.

• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in social work.
\n
• Assist in crisis intervention, using de-escalation techniques and appropriate therapeutic methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients from medically underserved communities in the Miami area. This includes individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, some facing financial hardships, and many with barriers to accessing mental health services. The ideal candidate will empathize with these experiences and provide culturally competent care tailored to each client's unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Florida.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in clinical social work, preferably in a community health or integrated care setting.

• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on building rapport with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
