Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be children and adolescents, typically ranging from 5 to 18 years old, who may be struggling with a variety of mental health conditions. This demographic often includes young individuals dealing with significant life changes, traumas, or emotional distress. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage with these patients in a supportive and understanding manner to help them achieve improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Strong expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders, with a solid understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrable experience in providing individual and family therapy targeting younger clients.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
