Work Environment

This role is an onsite position focused primarily on home care within the beautiful communities surrounding Red Bank, NJ. As a Physical Therapist at our organization, you will have the flexibility to choose your own hours, working Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our physical therapy team, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to collect detailed information about their physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions, utilizing assessments followed by clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment strategies.
• Designing and implementing customized treatment plans that may involve therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
• Instructing and guiding patients on the proper use of therapeutic exercises and assistive equipment, including walkers and wheelchairs.
• Providing manual therapy interventions such as massage and joint mobilization to promote healing and enhance mobility.
• Maintaining accurate patient records to track their progress and updating treatment plans as necessary.
• Engaging with patients and their families to provide education on home exercises and care options that support recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors facing various health challenges, ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Your ability to adapt treatment to address unique needs will significantly enhance our patients' quality of life and functional independence.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in basic word processing and electronic record-keeping systems.

Preferred Experience
