This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated RNs seeking a rewarding travel assignment with a supportive team—advance your nursing career!Quick Facts:Location: Bossier City, LA (near Shreveport)Start Date: 10/19/2026End Date: 01/16/2027Shift: 12H DaysHours/Week: 36-40 hoursEmployment Type: Travel/ContractLicensure: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS requiredExperience: Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience (First-time travelers must have 2+ years)Pay & Benefits:Hourly Pay Rate: $48.24/hourBenefits include:Competitive pay packagesWeekly pay schedule via direct depositMedical benefits (W-2)Robust referral bonus programPaid sick timeLicensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements available24/7 dedicated support teamWhat You'll Do:Provide high-quality nursing care for patients on the Med-Surg and Telemetry units, including transplant, CHF, COPD, and other common diagnosesMonitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, support patients with chest tubes and other devicesAdminister medications, including cardiac drips, and perform IV initiation and blood drawsCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members including RT, OT, PT, and Speech TherapistsDocument patient care accurately in EMR (Meditech Expanse)Support float assignments across units within scope of practiceAdhere to hospital protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort at all timesWhat You Need:Active RN license in LA or ability to obtain oneBLS, ACLS, NIHSS certificationsMinimum 1 year of RN experience in acute care; 2+ years for first-time travelersAbility to pass an EKG competency examStrong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and experience with chest tubes, IVs, and cardiac dripsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPreferred:Experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or transplant unitsAbility to handle diverse patient care needs in a fast-paced environmentAbout the Assignment:This assignment is based at a prominent hospital in Bossier City, LA, connected with a leading facility in Shreveport. You will be working on a busy and diverse unit caring for transplant and general medical-surgical patients.
