However, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is currently under a maximum telework posture due to the COVID-19 pandemic; therefore, this position is currently under a 100 percent telework schedule. Formal training and demonstrated experience to the Black Belt level of Lean Six Sigma is highly desired. Must have experience evaluating the effectiveness of business programs by implementing proactive, systematic and standardized program reviews against internal criteria, procedures and industry best practices such as the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence framework. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
