Our client is a respected commercial litigation firm in Coral Gables. It is looking for a talented, motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney. This is a chance to handle sophisticated, high-stakes matters in state and federal court, many of them with an international dimension, at a firm known for its collegial, supportive culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation matters from case inception through trial and appeal
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery
• Take and defend depositions; argue motions in state and federal court
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy with firm partners
• Communicate directly with clients, including Spanish-speaking clients, on case status and strategy

Qualifications

• J.D. and active member in good standing of The Florida Bar
• 7+ years of commercial litigation experience
• State and federal court experience
• Fluency in Spanish (required) , written and spoken
• Strong writing, research and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working well within a team
