Marketing Operations Associate

One of The Sage Group’s clients, a leading provider of cloud-based technology for the alternative investment industry, is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Marketing Operations Associate to support the day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns and programs. This role will work closely with the broader marketing team to build, launch, QA, and monitor campaigns across email, webinars, events, and other marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate has some experience working in HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform such as Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You don’t need to be a HubSpot expert—we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working in marketing technology, eager to learn, and highly detail-oriented.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain workflows, automations, and campaigns in HubSpot to support email campaigns, webinars, events, and other marketing programs
\n
• Support day-to-day campaign execution, including building and scheduling marketing emails, forms, and related assets
\n
• Conduct thorough QA before launches, including checking links, personalization, audience criteria, tracking parameters, and campaign setup
\n
• Monitor marketing automation processes and troubleshoot issues with workflows, lead routing, and lead handoffs
\n
• Identify and help resolve sync errors and data issues between HubSpot and third-party platforms, including Salesforce
\n
• Assist with campaign tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring
\n
• Maintain clean and accurate campaign data and help ensure marketing processes are executed consistently
\n
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to support successful campaign launches and ongoing optimization
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, campaign operations, or a related role
\n
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot or another marketing automation platform such as Marketo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
\n
• Strong attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy and QA
\n
• Comfortable working hands-on in systems and troubleshooting issues when something doesn’t work as expected
\n
• Basic understanding of marketing automation, lead management, campaign tracking, and CRM integrations
\n
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
\n
• Curious, resourceful, and willing to learn new tools and processes
\n
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
\n

Nice to Have

\n
• Experience working with HubSpot + Salesforce integrations
\n
• Familiarity with UTM parameters, campaign tracking, and marketing reporting
\n
• Experience supporting webinars, events, or other multi-channel marketing programs
\n
• Basic understanding of HTML/email marketing best practices
\n

Duration: 6+ Months; opportunity to extend and/or convert

Location: New York City Area

Pay: $45/hour
