Business Development Specialist

Our client within the retail technology space is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join their team. This is a contract opportunity looking to hire ASAP. Hybrid role: 3-4 days/week onsite in NYC Pay rate: $50-55/hr Key Responsibilities & Duties: Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound qualification processes. Collaborate with the US Account Executive to drive business growth in the US market through strategic prospecting and sales activities. Identify and engage high-potential accounts using multi-channel outreach strategies. Book qualified meetings for the US Account Executive and support larger opportunity management. Own the sales cycle for smaller opportunities, from qualification to closing. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HubSpot CRM to track sales activities and KPIs. Collaborate with team members to improve prospecting strategies and sales processes. Analyze and report on sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth. Utilize prospecting tools to enhance outreach efforts. Job Requirements: 3+ years of experience in business development or sales roles. Proficiency in CRM systems and prospecting tools. Strong outbound prospecting skills with excellent discovery and qualification capabilities. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Quick learner of new software and systems. Familiarity with marketplace or IT/Hardware sales is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
