Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Spindletop, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians to identify their needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implementing individualized therapy programs drawing from diverse specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Providing skilled therapeutic interventions that facilitate positive changes in patient conditions and function, adhering to the physician's prescribed plan of care.
• Delivering top-notch customer service, ensuring each patient's experience is a positive one, contributing to their overall recovery and satisfaction.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team, employing evidence-based approaches to optimize patient outcomes and overall treatment effectiveness.
• Educating and training patients and their caregivers, empowering them with knowledge and skills to support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the privilege to work with a diverse patient population, addressing various physical therapeutic needs across multiple conditions. Patients will range from young children needing developmental support to adults and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and sports injuries. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through their unique recovery paths, ensuring personalized care that meets their specific goals.

Qualifications

We require candidates to possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients effectively.
• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• A strong desire to build meaningful relationships with patients, guiding them toward achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with advanced certifications or specialized training in modalities such as manual therapy, dry needling, or sports rehabilitation will be given preference. Previous experience in a rehabilitation center setting or a private practice environment can further increase your suitability for this position.

Compensation and Benefits
