Trinity Health Physical Therapy LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Punta Gorda, Florida. This full-time position, located at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually. The successful candidate will play a vital role in evaluating, planning, and implementing customized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring that all therapeutic interventions align with the patients' needs and conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to ascertain their physical condition and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, targeting orthopedic conditions and enhancing functional mobility.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring optimal recovery pathways.
• Perform specialized therapy techniques in various settings, such as individual sessions or group therapy, and offer treatment both onsite and in appropriate out-of-facility environments.
• Interact with a diverse patient population, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults addressing mobility concerns, ensuring personalized and effective therapy.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, recovery expectations, and self-care strategies, helping them actively engage in their rehabilitation process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, treatment plans, and progress notes aligned with legal and organizational standards.
• Meet productivity targets and collaborative objectives as set forth by the organization, contributing to the overall success and effectiveness of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and sports-related injuries. You will utilize your expertise to tailor rehabilitation protocols that address individual patient challenges, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective care throughout their journey to full recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in word processing and other computer skills essential for documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to establish empathetic relationships with patients, fostering trust and motivation.
• A collaborative spirit to work effectively with colleagues across various disciplines in our rehabilitation settings.

Preferred Experience
